What Are Price Books?

At its core, a Price Book is a curated list of products with defined pricing, designed to simplify and structure your quoting process. Instead of allowing sales reps to choose from every product in HubSpot’s product library, Price Books let you define exactly which products they can sell and at what price.

For example: 

  • A North America sales team might have a different Price Book than an EMEA team.
  • A wholesale Price Book might feature lower prices than a retail Price Book.
  • A Team A Price Book might limit access to specific high-value products, while Team B can sell everything.

How to:

  1.  Navigate to the Price Books section in quote•hapily. 
  2. Click Create New Price Book, or import from CSV if you’ve got pricing in a spreadsheet.
  3. Give it a name and description.
  4. Add products directly from your HubSpot product library.

2. Control Product Access

Once a Price Book is assigned, reps can only see the products included in it when building a quote.

  • Override pricing across all products in a Price Book.
  • Manually override individual line items within a quote.

This ensures that reps always quote the correct price without needing to do calculations on their own.

5. Set Up Volume-Based Pricing

Pricing that adjusts automatically by quantity? Yes, please.

  • 1–100 units = $10 each
  • 101–200 = $5 each

  • 201+ = $3 each
